Inquiry is one way to have student centered learning. Studies have shown that student centered learning produces some of the highest forms of learning. However, this is not a method often seen in a math setting and it can be daunting to think of how to incorporate it in your class.

Have no fear! We have some resources to help you get started on your journey. We have some sample project-based learning units that you can adapt for your context. If you don’t want to take that big of a leap, you can try a task which takes just a few class periods to complete. If you even want to start smaller than a task, you can do some strategies which occur in tasks and PBL.

Just click the button below to get started.
